Story The lesser youkai of Gensokyo have long since seen the truth: whether during incident resolutions or in everyday life, the Hakurei shrine maiden and her allies never spare a thought for their feelings, bullying them however they please. Having endured enough, the lesser youkai decide to fight back. They form the Youkai Reform Organization, using a lively youkai bar as their base of operations, recruiting like-minded allies from far and wide. In this glorious rebellion from below, they swear to reclaim the justice that belongs to them! Core Gameplay Touhou Drunken Rebellion is a top-down danmaku shooting roguelike. Players take on the role of lesser youkai from Gensokyo and rise up against the powerful fgures who rule over it. Set out from your base and defeat every enemy you encounter! Unleash gorgeous, devastating danmaku barrages, or make clever use of special abilities and combat techniques. Along the way, collect a wide variety of drinks with unique passive efects, defeat the fnal boss, and bring your operation to a perfect conclusion! Playable Characters ~The Forgotten Karakasa Youkai~ Kogasa Tatara   A naturally airheaded lesser youkai who joined the Reform Organization to collect the wages Reimu still owes her. She has the highest starting stats of all characters, along with the strongest survival skill. Her melee build is also extremely powerful. Simple, straightforward, and undeniably strong ~The Jealous Hashihime Youkai~ Parsee Mizuhashi A youkai from the Underworld who is jealous at all times. Though she has a twisted personality, she is strangely cute in her own way. According to Parsee herself, she joined the Reform Organization in pursuit of a better life. Under normal circumstances, her combat ability is fairly ordinary. But once she gets hit, her jealousy explodes. Make full use of her love-hate relationship with her enemies! ~The Weak and Nameless Book-loving Youkai~ Tokiko A literary youkai who loves reading, but has a very frail body. Because she was often bullied by Reimu and Marisa in the past, she has a strong grudge against shrine maidens. She is rather timid by nature, and in battle she is the most unusual character of all. She has only two hearts. In her initial state, all of her abilities are extremely low. She fghts with books as her weapon, and she cannot upgrade her skills. At frst glance, she looks incredibly weak. But give her some time to grow, and perhaps she may surprise you... ~The Closed Eye of Koishi~ Koishi Komeiji A mysterious and adorable youkai who may appear during your operations. After defeating her three times, could she actually become your companion?! She uses the power of the unconscious to weave through enemy crowds, unleashing massive burst damage with her unique skills. What new variables will her arrival bring to the operation? ~Youkai of the Dusk~ Rumia An innocent darkness youkai, perpetually shrouded in thick black mist. For some reason, the sealing ribbon on her head seems a bit looser than usual, and she's somehow wielding a power far beyond her usual limits. Still... she doesn't quite give off that "extremely dangerous" vibe, does she? I suppose it's fine to let her join the operation? More youkai will join in future updates... Gorgeous! A Dazzling Variety of Danmaku Every type of danmaku has its own unique purpose. Equip them onto your weapons and unleash your frepower in the most spectacular way possible! More danmaku will be added in future updates! Drinks, and Even More Drinks The strong have always stood alone — but only those who drink leave their names behind! The game features a wide variety of drinks, each providing diferent passive efects. Choosing the right drinks, character passives, and danmaku for each situation is one of the keys to becoming truly powerful. Combine “dubious drinks” with “danmaku” and reach the peak of exhilarating, drunken bliss! More drinks will be added in future updates! Collection Room Beneath the bar lies a collection room. The youkai store the danmaku and drinks they have collected there, allowing everyone to admire and savor them. But don’t even think about sneaking anything out of the storage room. That’s against the rules! Powerful Enemies Marisa Kirisame A magician who resolves incidents, and one of the targets of the youkai’s rebellion. She specializes in high-powered magic. Recently, she has been developing mushroom danmaku, and will attack you with overwhelming waves of star-shaped bullets. Reimu Hakurei The shrine maiden who resolves incidents. Feared by countless lesser youkai, she is the main target of this rebellion. Though she is a lazy and unreasonable shrine maiden, her combat ability is overwhelming. Can the youkai truly defeat her?
