Swing Striker is an epic futuristic sport with easy to pick up/hard to master gameplay and a backstory that's out of this galaxy! Players swing around an arena using grappling hooks, trying to hit a giant ball into a goal. Along the way, they smash into each other, sometimes losing limbs in the process... You can play against friends locally, online, or through a full single player platformer story mode! Swing Striker is a sport unlike anything we have today. A sport where completely exploding your opponent into pieces as you swing over lasers is just part of an average game. From plant people, to robots, to crazy militant squirrels, Swing Striker’s cast of characters knows no limit! Each one has unique voice acting and backstories that will unlock and twist together over time. Play with up to 4 friends locally and online! Feeling brave? Try out online competitive matchmaking mode to win more unlockable content. Embark on an adventure to save the sport of Swing Striker itself from a mysterious evil bent on shutting it down. Each Striker has their own story and challenges they must face. Play through all of them to see how it all connects! Swing your way through a challenging single player mode full of puzzles, platforming challenges, and enemies out to get you. Explore the Old Town district of Basic B's home planet, find fans to take selfies with as Squid Kicks, and even outrun laser-shooting hornets as Penny Webb in the depths of her futurist forest. We couldn’t make an action-platformer without including a boss fight or two! Will you get good enough to win and unlock hidden extras? Show off the awesome hats and costumes won by completing challenges in the game. From biker jackets to cheerleader outfits, find the outfit that fits you best. We plan on adding in new levels, characters, and story updates each season to take you on a journey through Swing Striker's ever-expanding universe! Each season will include new characters, challenges, levels, and more! Swing Striker works with any type of gamepad. We even built an arcade cabinet to play it on! However, we do find it works best when played with a PS or XBox controller. You may remember Swing Striker as our 2012 Flash game, Swing Soccer from , which has 25M+ plays across the web. We're excited to finally flesh out the story, add depth to the gameplay, and bring it to Steam! Happy swingin'!
