I developed GRUBBY FINGERS over five years as a passion project. It is a game about scratching lottery tickets in a liminal gas station. While still being brutally honest about its bare-bones mechanics, it tries to hook players on the cheap thrills of small risks, big wins, and energy drinks. This meta-game uses a procedurally generated dark jazz soundtrack to lure players into exploring the eerie digital realm beyond the dopamine-fueled gameplay loop.     Emojis from OpenMoji are used in this game.
