You play as Mason, a novice paranormal investigator from Guthrie, Oklahoma, who temporarily moves into a rental house on the edge of town to investigate Burntwood’s strange reports, local haunts, and unexplained activity. At first, it is the kind of work Mason understands: old houses, local rumors, nervous witnesses, strange sounds in the dark. But when a brutal murder shakes the town and disturbing notes begin appearing under the name “The Wendigo,” Mason’s investigation turns into something far more dangerous.
