Your time is your health, your deadline, and your currency. Convergent Chrono is a 2D action roguelike where every decision rests on a single resource: time. Your remaining time is your life. It drains simply by flowing, is torn away when you take a hit, and the moment it reaches zero, you die. Slay enemies to reclaim time — and pay time to grow stronger. In this game, even the time you spend thinking is your life. ⏱ Stop the World, Schedule Death The signature skill Convergent Chrono freezes the time of the world. In the frozen world, enemies cannot be harmed. Instead, carve through them with slashes and stack up damage. The moment your accumulated damage exceeds an enemy's remaining life, a certain-kill mark is engraved — and when time flows again, every scheduled death is executed at once. This is a power fantasy built not on split-second reflexes, but on designing the order of executions inside frozen time. Leave the Power Idle, and the World Speeds Up The power of stillness is not free. Start hoarding Chrono Time, and the flow of the world begins to accelerate — enemies, barrages, even the drain of your own time, up to 3×. There is only one way to turn it back: stop time, and cut. Spend the power of stillness and the world slows; hoard it, and the world closes in on you. Stake Everything on the Fourth Slash Slashes within the stop flow in cycles. After three slashes comes the fourth — an empowered slash, a single strike that unleashes condensed power. Release the time stop, and you are rewarded: the world slows in proportion to the slashes you have stacked. Stop, cut, release — this rhythm is the heart of the game. A New Build Every Run Five weapon slots + set effects — gather the same lineage to complete a synergy, or fuse weapons to raise their rank. Runes — swap out parts of your signature skill to reshape the character of each run. Annihilation augments — wipe out every enemy in a round to unlock a one-of-three augment pick. Longer stops, faster recharge, a bigger budget of empowered slashes — your choices become your build. Rules That Change with Every Difficulty The four difficulty tiers are no mere enemy-HP multipliers. Starting time, damage conversion, enemy behavior, boss pattern rhythm, whether fusion is allowed, the very conditions that accelerate the world — the rules of the game themselves are rewritten at every tier. The highest difficulty, TIMELESS, opens only to those who have proven themselves with a clear. Everything converges into a single number. To grow stronger, you must sell your remaining life.
